Founded in 2017, the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF) proved that sponsorship isn’t the only lane in skateboarding. Offering scholarships for skateboarders pursuing higher learning, CSEF has continued to grow its reach and imprint in skating and education—raising $90,000 in scholarship funds in 2024 alone. Helping skateboarders further their education regardless of their financial situation or circumstances, CSEF has been pivotal in not only helping members of the skate community reach their goals but also in reshaping the tropes and stereotypes of skateboarding itself.
This gap-bridging design keeps it classic with a white and black colorway featuring patent leather Swoosh logos and the foundation’s signature green and yellow. Merging collegiate details with skate illustrations, this edition customizes the iconic Dunk silhouette with a slimmer tongue, debossed artwork, graphic sockliner, athletic typography heel tabs and a ceremonial CSEF graduation tassel. Issued with a pencil-inspired lace option and a tri-color sole, the CSEF Dunk Low is packed with hidden homages to academia, including a skate-away “eraser pink" underlayer in high-wear areas.
